  I ventured into this lovely shop looking for a small arrangement or potted plant for a friend of a friend, recovering from surgery. The florist, Kathleen, greeted me with a smile and listened patiently as I explained what I was looking for. She was very helpful, understanding and knowledgeable about the floral products at her disposal. After a few suggestions, I decided on a cheery small potted Mum plant. Kathleen was gracious about letting me step into her 'work area' at the back of the shop, to view the various pots she had available, so that I could choose something that would upgrade my plant from the basic green plant container in which it was housed, to something a bit more decorative. While Kathleen wrapped my purchase in cellophane and colourful ribbon, she invited me to choose a small gift card. They had a beautiful antique table (complete with a chair!) all set up with a variety of cards. I sat in comfort as I filled in the card. Kathleen efficiently tucked my completed card into the folds of the plant, before attaching the ribbon. At the till, I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price of the entire plant. Thank you Kathleen for taking the time to give such personable and friendly service. I shall definitely be returning to this pretty shop, the next time I am in Lindsay.
